 "Ponpi" is the word that Umeo created when she was 2 years old, meaning "sanpo (walking outside)", and since then we have been using the word, indeed. We have started calling ourselves Club Ponpi and became more conscious about our daily activities. We, Umeo, Sukla and I, discuss what we want to do next day; most of the day, we go to the beach, and sometimes we do cooking, making crafts, stitching things together. Umeo organizes short starting/ closing ceremony with the song we learned from Ohisama-Kai in Tokyo. (During our trip to Tokyo in June, we visited the group to understand child care by parents group.) The very first place as a Club Ponpi was Osozu Beach, and there, we had a great encounter.   Mother, M-chan, came to the beach with 2-year-old Y and 8-month-old H-chan. We knew each other from before, but hadn't been in touch. We were all so delighted to see each other because we had been wanting, and seeking to have buddies to play with outside, being as free as possible with as less interruption as possible. It was almost miracle for me to meet her again over there at such an appropriate timing. Since then, we meet up and spend time together almost everyday. Umeo also said "wow, Club Ponpi has got fellows!" happily. I'm so thankful to M-chan who gives a kind eye to us and respects/enjoys our personalities. I appreciate the days that I can spend and see children's progress everyday during this precious period of time, and having found someones who are very comfortable to spend time with. These are our happy summer days! Wakana   ぽんぴくらぶ 「ぽんぴ」は、2歳の（う）が作ったことばで、「おさんぽ」を意味しています。そして、今でも、我が家では皆がこの言葉を未だに使ったりしているんです。最近のの日々のお散歩を中心とした活動を「ぽんぴくらぶ」と呼び始めました。自分たちでそう呼び始めたら、日々の過ごし方にもっと意識的になることができるようになりました。 私と（う）と（す）は、毎日、翌日に何をしたいかを話し合います。今はもっぱら毎日が海遊び。砂浜、砂利浜、時には遠浅で近くの島まで歩いて渡れたりする場所もあります。あるいは、時には一緒に料理したり、手芸をしたり、工作をしたり。（う）がいつもはりきって、始まりと終わりの会を仕切ってくれます。これは、6月に東京に帰省した時に、都内の自主保育のグループ「原宿おひさま会」を見学に行った時に覚えてきたのですが、終わりの会の時にはリズムに乗って短い歌を歌ったりします。「さよなら三角、また来て四角、あしたは10時に～～です！」という感じに。それで、両手の人差し指と親指を作って、三角形を作りながら、歌います。これがまたよくて、一体感と最後をちゃんと閉める感が、気持ちよいのです。ところで、「ぽんぴくらぶ」としての初日、行った先の大早津の砂浜で、何とも素敵な親子との出会いがありました。 お母さんのМちゃんは、2歳のＹ君と8か月のＨちゃんを連れて、砂浜に来ていました。以前から顔見知りではあったのですが、連絡を取り合うというようなお付き合いはありませんでした。ところがこの日の久しぶりの再会で、お互いに出会うべくして、そしてこのタイミングでの再会に大いに感動。というのも、お互い、一緒に外遊びをする仲間への想いは強かったから。できるだけ自由に、できるだけ開放的に遊びたい、遊ばせたい、そんな親子がこの地区にもいたことが、嬉しくて、嬉しくて。その日から、ほぼ毎日一緒に遊んでいます。（う）も、「ねぇ、ぽんぴくらぶも、仲間できたんじゃない？」と嬉しそう。   温かく尊重の念を持って、また一緒に楽しんでくれるＭちゃんの人柄と態度も心地よい。子どもたちと共にすごし、進化を毎日目の当たりにできることの貴重な期間に感謝しながら、またこの居心地の良い家族に出会えたことが嬉しい。こうして、海で、互いの家を行き来してご飯を一緒に食べたりしながら、毎日が夏休み。 （わ）
