（ま）が生まれて一ヶ月が経ちました。当初は退院してからもなかなか体重増加が進まず、（わ）が乳腺炎にかかったことからも、乳房を咥えている時間は長くとも、きちんと母乳が吸えてなかったようです。（す）のときがあまりにも上手くいっていたので、大人の方が油断していたのかもしれません。
それに気づいてからは、僕も夜中は授乳、搾乳を手伝い、たねっこに行けなくなった（う）と（す）のストレス発散にも気を使いながら、昼間はみかん山にも出向くので、僕たち夫婦はフラフラといった感じでした。  この間、この家族を支えてくれたのは、二人のお母さま。（わ）の母が出産直前から、後半は僕の母が入れ替わって、家事や僕がみかん山に出ているあいだの子守を担ってくれました。 遠いところ、ありがとうございました。新たな料理の可能性を感じたり、地元の人にはなかなか伝わらないIターンならではの話をすることもできたり、助かっただけでなく楽しくもありました。インドのコルカタ、明浜と、両親の居住地から大きく離れた場所での出産、暮らしを経験してきて、家族のありがたみをしみじみ感じるようになってきました。   おかげさまで、（ま）はその後はぷっくりと健康的に膨らんできています。よく眠り、大声で泣きます。（う）も（す）もこの子が大好きなようです。かわいがるのを面白がっています。親馬鹿なようでアレですが、みんないい子だと思います。 いつかそちらの地で、三人そろってお目にかけることができると思います。お楽しみに。   （ゆ） Makasa, one-month-old It has been one month since Makasa was born. After being out of the hospital, Makasa didn't gain weight as expected as an infant. She was sucking nipples for quite a long time, but we came to know that she was not being able to take breast milk properly only when Wakana started suffering from mastitis. Regarding breast feeding, we didn't have any problems at the time of Sukla, so we were not careful enough... Since then, I began to help her breast feed and express breast milk. Besides that, we were trying not let Umeo and Sukla be too stressed because their parents paid more attention to the little one. It was my role to take them out once a while and play with them as they wished. Of course I work in the citrus field during daytime, so both Wakana and I were really exhausted...! During this challenging period, two mothers helped us a lot. Wakana's mother came just before Makasa was born and stayed with us for a month, and then my mother followed right after she went back. They did various kinds of house work and spent time with Umeo and Sukla while I was out at work. Thank you so much for coming all the way for us! Enjoying their delicious dishes, we have learned new recipes, and it was nice that we could talk about our challenges as "I-turns" (those who move from urban area to rural area to settle down) that most of local people can't understand. They were not only helpful but also encouraging. Having been experiencing life living far from where our parents were, both in Kolkata and Akehama, we came to understand how helpful they are. Thanks to everyone, Makasa has been gaining her weight healthily, sleeps well, and cries loudly. Both Umeo and Sukla seem to love her. They enjoy devoting a lot of attention to her. It may sounds like I'm a doting father, but I think each of them has nice personality. Sometime near future, we will show up with these three kids in front of you. Please be ready! Yuki |

あらま！ あきさんもどうもおめでとうございます。 お互い、いつの間にやらお母になったのねぇ。 こちらは、ドタバタしつつも赤ちゃんのいる生活のリズムが ようやくつかめてきたところ。 本当、家族で会いたいね。今は産休かな？ お互い体を大事に、楽しく日々奮闘しよう！ （わ）

万傘ちゃん、ご誕生おめでとうございます！
わかな、いつのまに3匹の母ちゃんになったんだね＾＾ ますますたくましくなるねぇ。 こちらも万傘ちゃんと2日違いの13日に次男坊が産まれたので、ブログを読んでなんだかとっても嬉しくて。 なかなか機会を作れずにいますが、子供連れで会える日を楽しみにしています。体には気を付けてね！ 東京のアイセック仲間？より。
