なんと後藤春彦先生がやってきてしまいました。
彼の研究室で卒論を書き、修士過程を送り、博士後期課程を中退するまで、ずっとお世話になりました。この人に目をかけてもらえなかったら、僕にはこんな暮らしも経験もなかっただろうな、とつくづく思います。 僕が無条件に「先生」と呼べば、この人のこと。だけど、何を教えてもらったかというと、具体的なことが思い浮かばないのが、不思議なところ。 先生は今年度、全国地域リーダー養成塾の講師もしていて、その塾生を引き連れてやってきました。 卯之町まで出迎えて、マイクロバスの中で簡単なレクチャーをしながら狩江地区へ。そこで車を乗り換えていつもの通りみかん山を案内し、最後はかんまん部屋で、この場所の紹介と意見交換、質疑応答の時間としました。 これまで誰にも話したことのない、新ネタも披露しました。塾生の人たちはどんな印象を受けたか分かりませんが、先生が満足気な顔つきで帰っていったので、ほっとしました。協力してくれたファーマーズユニオン天歩塾リーダーのMさんにも、感謝。  もう少しゆっくり、塾生の皆さんとも、出来れば囲炉裏で遅くまで話し込みたいところですが、それはまたいつか。 （ゆ） Training Institution for Regional Leaders in Japan Dr. Haruhiko Goto had come to visit me, wow! Under his supervision, I wrote a graduation thesis, spent days for the master's degree course, and until the day I left the university without a doctorate, he had supported me in many ways. Thanks to his special attention to me, I have gained precious experience that brought me where I am now. When I call someone simply "teacher", that means him. However, if someone asks me what he taught me specifically, I can't really think of anything concrete. This is quite interesting. He has been an instructor of the Training institution for Regional Leaders in Japan. It was then that he chose this area and the way I'm living as one of the study cases. So he visited me with the participants of the institute. I went to Unomachi station to welcome them, and gave a small lecture inside their micro bus on the way to Karie. When we reached Karie, I first showed them around the terraced fields, as I usually do to our guests, then we sat together at Kanman-beya over cups of chai. I introduced the concept of this space, and we exchanged opinions, questions and answers. Actually, I talked about the new topics that I've been interested in and studying these days. I don't know if the participants enjoyed their time here, but it was a big relief to see the teacher's face showing full satisfaction. I also would like to thank M-san, a leader of the Farmer's Union Tempo-juku (one of the units of Muchachaen) who helped me with organizing this day. It would be nice if I could talk with those participants around Irori-fire place throughout night, well, maybe that's for another time in the future. Yuki |
