 This year's Inoko festival was held on 21st of Nov in this area. Usually, it's held on the day of the Boar, according to Oriental Zodiac in Nov, wishing for the prevention of all kinds of diseases and a healthy life. Elementary school kids gathered around 6 am to start the march. They visit every house of the area and offer them prayers. Small kids, like Umeo, follows the march for fun. I remember that in last year Umeo couldn't walk that far, so followed the march sitting on a baby buggy. Time flies, and soon she will be one of them marching around! Wakana 亥の子 今年のこの地域の亥の子は、１１月の２１日に行われました。 たいてい、１１月の亥の日に行われる亥の子。万病除去や子孫繁栄を祈る行事と言われています。この日、小学生は朝６時ごろに集合して家々を回り始めました。 （う）もそうですが、小さい子どもは面白がってこの行列にくっついていきます。去年の亥の子には、（う）はそんなに長く歩けないのでベビーカーに乗っかってついていったっけ。もう一年が経ったのか、早いものです。そうしてすぐに、あの亥の子マーチの一員になる日が来るのでしょうね。 （わ）
