 It was such an eventful day, morning to evening. Usually, we go to the ground in the afternoon to join the community sports festival, but we had to go there in the morning this year. In the morning, the elementary school sports festival was held on the same ground, and Umeo and Y-kun were entried for one event as first-year-student-to-be. Having worn pre school sports clothes, they ran and got souvenier bags. Both looked quite nervous, but they did very well! When we joined this event for the first time in 2009, Umeo and Y-kun were just like today's Makasa...time flies.    Though we took lunch boxes to the ground, we decided to come home once to have lunch and take a break. We needed to be ready for the tough afternoon...! Along with Y-kun's family, we enjoyed a garden picnic.  In the afternoon, the community sports festival began. Yuki, me, Y-kun's parents (Ky-chan and S-kun) were all entried SO MANY events, so we needed other audience's help to take care of kids. However, despite our worries, the kids were playing together mainly in the big sand box with other kids as well. Even Makasa was fine staying with the audience while both parents had to go for the events. What a big relief!  By the time all of us got really exhausted, it was almost the end of the sports festival, and it also started raining a bit. Enjoying the cool air, we went to the public bath with Y-kun's family. Relaxing in the hot bath, myself and Ky-chan decided to skip cooking dinner for the day. So, we all had a dinner at the restaurant in the same building and cheered. It was, indeed, the first time for Yuki and S-kun to sit together and have a long talk, which was a big joy for all of us. Anyways, well done, all of us! Wakana  町民運動会2014 何とも盛り沢山な一日でした。例年は午後からの町民運動会にだけ参加するのですが、今年は朝から運動場へ行きました。 というのも、午前中は同じ運動場で小学校の運動会が行われるからで、来年１年生になる（う）とY君も出る種目が一つ用意されているからです。保育所の体操着を着て、向こうに置いてあるギフト袋に向かってダッシュです。二人とも緊張した様子でしたが、しっかり頑張りました！思えば最初に町民運動会に参加したのは２００９年。その時の二人は、ちょうど今の（ま）くらいでした。早いものです。 お弁当も持って行ってはいたのですが、一度戻ってうちで食べることにしました。この後のスケジュールを考えても、ひと息入れねばなりません。Y君親子も一緒に、庭でピクニックです。 午後は、いよいよ町民運動会。（ゆ）も私も、Y君の両親KyちゃんとS君も、出る種目がやたらと多い。なので、出ている間の子守を観ている人たちにお願いせねばなりません。けれど親たちの心配をよそに、子どもたちは好き勝手に遊び回っています。運動場の大きな砂場で、他の子や観客の大人も巻き込みながら好き放題やっているようなので、まぁ放っておきましょう。（ま）も、託したご近所の方に見守られながらご機嫌です。頼もしいこと！    私たちも皆へとへとになった頃、運動会自体も最終種目を迎え、小雨も降ってきました。涼しい空気を楽しみながら、Y君家族と銭湯に向かいます。広いお風呂でくつろぎながら、私とKyちゃんは早々夕飯作りをオサボリ宣言。風呂上りに、併設のレストランで皆で乾杯しました。気づけば、S君と（ゆ）の二人の父ちゃんが一緒に飲み交わしてゆっくりおしゃべり、というは初めての機会。皆何だか嬉しい気持ちです。それにしても、皆さん一日お疲れさまでした。 （わ）
