As everyday, it was THE SUMMER DAY today, that we love!
In the morning, we were off to the local beach. When we were playing around, a fisherman found us and gave a couple of small octopuses. Umeo and Sukla were so happy that they tried to pick one of them up, but Sukla screemed because his hand was stuck among octopus's suckers! Meanwhile, Makasa was very happy grabbing and playing with gerryfish (of course, atoxic one!).
Soon later, another fisherman let Sukla used his rod. Sukla looked really sartisfied as he had been wishing to use the real rod. (At home, he makes his own rod with a branch, jute rope, and a small green unripe orange as a bait, and pretends to do fishing in the small river in front of our house .)
Coming back home, we had Somen noodle for lunch, cooked the octopuses, took a good nap, and played with small home swimming pool. Then, one of neighbors brought a huge piece of watermelon, so it became our snack on the poach.Water melon seeds that we threw on the garden are putting forth buds now. What a full of summer we love! Actually, three of them are going to enter local nursery school in a month, as Umeo strongly wished to do so. It's good timing indeed. Dear children, let's enjoy your home-based-summer together for some more time!

夏の子たち ～もうすぐ保育園
毎日そうなのですが、今日も「ザ・夏の日」で大満喫。
午前中には、近所の浜辺に行って海遊び。遊び回っていたら、タコ釣のオジサンに呼び止められて、小さなタコを二匹もらいました。（う）と（す）は大喜びで、一匹をつまみ上げようとしたのですが、吸盤に手を吸いつかれて悲鳴をあげたのは（す）でした。その横では、（ま）がミズクラゲを握ったりつぶしたりして嬉しそう。（毒はありません！）
少しすると、また別の魚釣りのオジサンが、（す）に釣竿を持たせてくれました。（す）の満足気な顔といったら。ずっと、本物の釣竿を持ってみたくてたまらなかったのです。（普段は、家の前の川で釣ごっこをしています。枝に麻紐をつけて、先に拾った摘果みかんをくくりつけたお手製釣竿を使っています。）
お昼に戻ってそうめんを食べ、先ほどのタコを調理して、たっぷりお昼寝をしたら、午後は庭でプール。そうこうしているうちに、ご近所さんから大きなスイカをいただいて、そのまま縁側でおやつにガブリ！庭にプッとした種たちは、最近芽を出してきています。ああ、なんてめいっぱいの夏の日々。
実は、もう一ヶ月もすると、この子たちは三人とも保育所に通い出します。（う）のたっての希望もあって、手続きをとっているところです。実際、いいタイミングかもしれません。さぁ、おうちを拠点とした夏の日々を、もう少し一緒に楽しもうじゃないか！
