2014,07,29, Tuesday
 Makasa's weaning ceremony has been done in this morning. I prepared the termination of breast feeding exactly in the same way as I had done it for Umeo and Sukla: drawing a face under my shirt. But this time, it was more fun because Umeo and Sukla joined me,too. Umeo drew a big poo(?) over her belly and Sukla drew a lot of circles on many parts of his body. We said "one, two, three...now!" and opened our shirts in front of Makasa to show our drawings. She was playing with toys, but looked at me, showed her surprising expression at first, but soon smiled and came to me. I thought she would pull my shirt down as Sukla did in his weaning ceremony, but she started playing with the face on my body. Mmm...!? However...that was it. We really have taken another big step. Makasa looked totally fine and started eating a lot, almost more than Umeo and Sukla, which amazed us. Yuki didn't see the ceremony because he left for work in early morning, but I explained how it went when he came back for lunch. With his word "Otsukaresama! ("Well done! You must have spend much energy!"), I felt that we really completed our precious breast-feeding period, which is kind of sad, but I'm very proud of it. Makasa, enjoy your growth as much as we have been doing and will do! Wakana 授乳よ、さようなら 今朝、（ま）の断乳式を行いました。胸とお腹にかけて「へのへのもへじ」を大きく描き、（う）や（す）の時と全く同じ段取りで準備しました。 面白かったのは、今回は、（う）と（す）も一緒にやってくれたこと。（う）はお腹に大きなウンチの絵を、（す）は体のあちこちにグルグル巻きを描いて、三人でわくわく、スタンバイ。「せーの！」」で一度にシャツをめくりあげて、（ま）に見せます。遊んでいた（ま）は、じっと私を見て、びっくりした様な表情を見せ、でもすぐににっこり笑って近づいてきました。（す）の時のように、私のシャツを下ろして幕引きをするのかと思いきや、描かれた顔を触って遊び始めました・・・ありゃ？！ともあれ・・・以上でした。さぁ、これでまた、一段階大きく前に進みます。 断乳後の（ま）は特に問題もなく、やはり食欲増大です。上二人よりも多くの量を食べているくらいで、私たちを驚かせています。 朝早く山に出かけた（ゆ）は、この断乳式は見ていませんでしたが、昼食時に戻った時に上手くいったことを伝えました。彼の「お疲れさま・・・！」の一言で、この長く、貴重な、授乳期間がついに終わったことを実感しました。ちょっと淋しいような、でも誇らしい気分です。（ま）さん、思う存分大きくなってちょうだい。私たちがこれまでも、そしてこれからも楽しませてもらっているように、その成長を楽しんでね。 （わ）
