We were totally unaware of these people in Uwa.
Uwa town is a 20 minute drive from our house and has our favorite cafe, Ikedaya. Tanekko is also in Uwa. However, we didn't know that there are many artists in Uwa those who are quite crazy...!:) We got to know that they often get together at Ikedaya, and four of them came to Kanman-beya for Irori-BBQ this evening. K-san of Requ made this happen. After we visited her studio in Feb, she contacted her friends and they all made it. K-san brought a singer, a fashion designer, and an owner of Ikedaya; they were all women. What was crazy about them was that they all loved living in Uwa and their information networks in the town is like a spider's web from the city office matters to a bar whose owner is psychic. Since I founded Tanekko in Uwa, my understanding of Uwa has deepened, I thought. However, having met that day's guests, I felt we were opening another door for entry to the town. Thank you everyone for the crazy fun night! Wakana   宇和クレイジーアーティスト 宇和にこんな人たちがいたとは、全く知りませんでした。今宵は彼女たちと一緒に囲炉裏を囲んで、乾杯！ 宇和町は我が家から車で20分ほど走ったところにあって、大好きなカフェ「池田屋」さんや通っている「たねっこ」のある地域です。ですが、ここにこんなアーティストが存在していたとは。しかも、結構クレイジー！どうやら、池田屋さんが集いの場になっているとのこと。そして今夜は、４名の彼女たちが囲炉裏ＢＢＱに来てくれました。 連れて来てくれたのは、「りくう」のＫさん。２月に彼女の工房を見学させてもらった後、他の３名の都合を調整してやって来てくれました。一人はシンガー、もう一人は、ファッションデザイナー、そして３人目は池田屋さんの女将さんです。彼女たちの何がクレイジーかというと、皆が宇和という場所が強烈に大好きで、その情報網は蜘蛛の巣のごとき。それも市役所事情からとあるスナックの霊能者ママまで。 宇和で「たねっこ」を見つけて以来、宇和のことを大分知るようになったなぁ、と思っていたのですが、なんのその。この日の皆さまとの出会いは、また別の宇和への扉を開けたように思われてなりません。来てくださって、そして愉快なクレイジーナイトをどうも有り難うございました！ （わ） |
