These days, I'm happily busy setting up a small Nancha souvenir shop near the entrance of Kanmanbeya.
Yuzu-achar, Ume-extract, Ume pickles, Ume-vinegar, Hijiki(brought by Z-san, a local fisher man), Indian blankets and grass mats(sent by friend in Kolkata), postcards with Yuki's illustrations etc...As I started to think about packing and labeling each item, I came to realize that we have quite a large number of small things that we can share with our guests. Well, selling our own items is fun indeed, but it's also nice to have small things ready that we can casually take with us and introduce our production activities.

なんち屋みやげ
このところ、玄関を入ってすぐの棚に、なんち屋の小さなお土産屋さんを開くべく、あれこれ準備を楽しんでいます。
ゆずアチャール、梅肉エキス、梅干し、梅酢、ひじき（漁師のZさんが持ち込んだもの）、インドの刺し子ブランケットやグラスマット、それに（ゆ）のイラストポストカード等々。小瓶に詰めたりラベルを貼ったりしながら、うちに遊びに来てくれる友人知人やお客さんに分けられる品物が、案外多いことに気が付きます。自分たちのお気に入りのものを売るのも楽しいのですが、いつも手軽に活動を紹介できるアイテムが、そこにいつでも揃っている。それを眺めるのも、なんだか気持ちがいいものです。
