友人が出展している出羽島アート展を観に、そして友人夫妻との再会のために、徳島へ行ってきました。
 出羽島は牟岐町から連絡船に乗って渡ります。さすが太平洋、静かな法華津湾とは波が違います。船が揺れ、しぶきをかぶるたびに（う）が大はしゃぎ。   このたびの旅では、友人夫妻にお世話になりっぱなしでした。邸宅に2泊させてもらった上に、平日にもかかわらず、時間をたっぷり作ってもらって、出羽島も案内してもらったし、徳島で知り合った興味深い人々に引き合わせてもらい、面白い場所へ次々と連れていってもらいました。 そして何より、自分が好きなこと、面白いと思っていること、その背景にある経験や時代観を、臆することなく話せるのは、なんて気分のよいものでしょう。ここで出会った人たちと酒を飲みながら、あらためて、そう感じました。そういう気楽さが伝わるのか、（う）も（す）も、この3日間は、穏やかに過していました。   また出会いましょう。明浜か、徳島か、また別の場所で。 （ゆ） Our visit to Tokushima We took a short family trip to Tokushima prefecture. We wanted to see our family friends there and also wanted to visit an art exhibition on Teba-island where this friend had set up her booth with her art work. To get to Teba-island, we ferried from Mugi-town. Yes, that was the Pacific Ocean, totally different from our local Hoketsu-bay. Every time our boat weltered and splashed, Umeo got really excited. Throughout this trip, the friends took wonderful care of us. Despite the fact that we visited during a weekday, they had plenty of time to spend with us; they showed us around Teba-island's exhibition, introduced us to their unique friends, and took us to various nice shops and restaurants. More than anything, I felt really relaxed because I could talk to them and discuss what I'm interested in and its backgrounds without any hesitation. Like enjoying Sake with them and their friends, I really felt so. During this trip, both Umeo and Sukla stayed relaxed and happy, too. Maybe they also understood how comfortable their parents were with those friends. We'd like to see them again. Next time, maybe in Akehama, Tokushima, or somewhere else. Yuki |
