 It was quite a big challenge for me to drive somewhere I'd never gone before by myself. It took about two hours by car. But I did it, and moreover, we met wonderful people and nature there in Mimaki, Uwajima-city. One of our friends told us that there is a group called "Mimaki Shizen no gakkou (Nature School in Mimaki)", which is organized by people living in Mimaki who gather kids to let them play with nature once a month. It can be said that this is a kind of "Forest Kindergarten" activity. They were really friendly, calm and positive people who enjoy observing kids playing freely in mud and among trees. Umeo went crazy when she found a mud-pond, and since then she has been dreaming of going there again. One of the organizers is also from outside Ehime prefecture, and he got interested in the way we live, too. He asked me to bring Yuki next time as well; I feel like our new friend circle is growing in this direction in the near future! Wakana   みまき自然の学校 運転苦手の私にとっては、なかなかの挑戦でした。初めての場所に、一人で運転して約2時間。なんとか成し遂げたのはいいとして、何よりも素敵な人たちと自然環境と出会うことができたのが大収穫でした。 友人の一人がこの「みまき自然の学校」という集まりを紹介してくれたのがきっかけでした。宇和島市の御槇に住んでいる人が主催しており、ひと月に一度、子どもたちを集めて自然の中で遊んでいるという活動です。活動の趣旨も、「森のようちえん」活動のひとつといえそうです。 そこに来ていた人たちは、皆とても話しやすく、落ち着いていて、前向きな人たちばかりでした。そして、子どもたちが泥や木の間を自由に遊び回るのを楽しそうに見守っているのです。沼を見つけた（う）は狂喜乱舞で、あの日以来、またあの沼にハマりたいと言い続けています。 主催者の一人は、私たち同様、県外からの移住者でした。私たちの暮らしにも関心を持ってくれた彼は、今度はぜひ（ゆ）も連れて来てと言ってくれました。さてさて、こんな方面にもお付き合いが伸びていく、嬉しい予感です。 （わ）
