E-chan's daughter is as old as Umeo. They used to come to play with us before. However, since she started working, we hadn't seen them for a long time.
Recently, she has joined a local bank as a part-time sales staff. Whenever she has some works in this area, she drops by for a chat. Today, she joined us at Sukla's snack time. It was warmer outside, so we had a nice snack-time in the sun sitting in the Engawa, a veranda-like-porch. It makes me happy that though she is in a bank uniform and can't spend time with us as often as she used to, her unchanged attitude helped her to adjust with the situation here very naturally.

Eちゃんには（う）と同級生の女の子がいます。よく遊びに来てくれていたけれど、Eちゃんが仕事を始めてからは、しばらく会っていませんでした。
最近、地元の銀行で営業のパートを始めたEちゃん。外回りで近所を通る時には、決まってうちにも寄ってくれるようになりました。この日は、ちょうど（す）のおやつ時間だったので、一緒に。外の方が暖かかったので、皆で縁側でおやつを食べました。銀行の制服姿で、前のように頻繁には遊べないけれど、変わらぬ彼女の様子が、この家の雰囲気にもすんなりと溶け込んで、とても嬉しく思いました。
