Last two weeks, Umeo couldn't play with any kids because she had hand-foot-and-mouth disease.
Poor Umeo couldn't eat anything but jelly or Somen noodles, and couldn't drink anything without the help of a dropper due to pain of mouth ulcer. This virus is commonly infectious, so we tried not to meet any other kids. What we did was instead of going to the local park, we went towards the citrus fields, which was real fun eventually!
There is a kind of small platform near the mountain for temporary evacuation from Tsunami. Umeo and Sukla like the place and call it "our stage". Umeo sings, dances and jumps around. Another favorite route is a long walk up to the mountain. On the way, there is a tree that looks like an ice cream; this made Umeo happy as well.
We didn't spend any time with neighbors' friends at all for the last two weeks, but found many nice and secret spots. Not bad!

遊び場開拓
この2週間、（う）が手足口病になったために、友達と全く遊べない日々を過ごしました。
かわいそうな（う）は、口の中の発疹が痛くて、ゼリーやそうめんの他は、全く食べることができません。飲み物ですら、スポイトであげないと飲めないほどでした。子どもの間で大流行の感染症なので、他の子どもと接触しないよう努めました。公園には行けないので、何をしていたかというと、段々畑に向かって散歩にでかけていたのでした。これが、実際とっても愉快だったのです。
山の近くに、津波の一時避難場所としてちょっと平になっている場所があります。（う）と（す）はここがとても気に入って、「私たちのステージ」と呼び始めました。（う）はここで、踊って歌って飛び跳ねて。他には、てくてく歩いてアイスクリームの形をした木を目指します。これも楽しい。
2週間、本当に全く近所の友達と過ごしませんでした。が、いくつも愉快な秘密の遊び場所を見つけることができて、うん、悪くなかったな。
