友人たちが遊びに来てくれました。
友人と言っても、僕たちより年輩で、実はみんな、先日の豊根村同窓会に参加した人たち。そのとき、シンポジウムを口実にかんまん部屋への来訪を約束したAさんとSさん、そして、それならば私も、ということでやってきたMさんの3名です。前日は西予市内の旅館に泊まった人、夜行バスでかけつけた人、四国旅行の最後にレンタカーでやってきた人、同じ日に、みんなばらばらにやってきました。 お風呂からあがってきて、まず乾杯。そしてご飯を食べながら、NHKの放送をみんなで確認。会場でインタビューを受けていたAさんが、僕より長く映っていて大笑い。楽しく酒が進みます。 子どもが寝はじめる頃から囲炉裏に移動。淡い灯りの下、酒はますます進みます。 豊根村に思い入れがある、ということだけが接点の人間が、このかんまん部屋で過しているということが、なんだか愉快です。キャリアも普段の仕事もまるで異なるのに、案外話は通じ合うものです。地元の酔っぱらいのおっちゃんが何度も出入りして、場も話題も引っ掻き回しましたが、それもまたよし。ここはかんまん部屋、それでこそ、というところです。  翌日はいつもの通り、農道ツアー。無茶々園で事務局職員をしていたときを含め、大変多くの人をみかん山に案内してきましたが、なかなか楽しいお客さまでした。この風景を、先入観なく受け止めてくれて、うれしい限りです。 ツアーの後は無茶々園事務所にてお土産購入。忙しい皆さんは、まもなく明浜を後にしました。前日の夕方からこの昼下がりまで、短い時間でしたが、たっぷり交流した充実感があります。   今度は秋祭りへの来訪を約束しました。再会が楽しみです。 （ゆ） After me the deluge #2 Friends of us visited here. They are all seniors to us, and we met them the alumni meeting in Toyone village last month. Mr. A and Mr.S originally had a plan of attending the symposium, so they also decided to visit our home, and Ms. M simply liked the idea of coming to our house with them. They reached here separately, but on the same day; one stayed at hotel the night before, one came by night bus, and one came by rented car after traveling several places in Shikoku. Taking a bath, we had a toast to begin with. Then, we watched the TV news about the symposium as we had dinner together. We all laughed looking at the news because Mr. A got an interview there and appeared in the TV much longer than I did! Our enjoyable drinking and eating went on. On the next day, I took them to the citrus field tour as always. I had taken many guests to the field tour, even when I was Muchacahen staff, so I can say that they were quite exciting guests to take with. They accepted this scenery without any biases, which made me happy. After the tour, they bought some products at Muchachaen office for souvenirs. Busy guests left here soon after this. Since they reached here in the evening yesterday, it had been quite short time. However, I felt that we shared many things. They made a promise to come back here to see the autumn festival next time. I'm looking forward to seeing them, again. Yuki |
