As some of kids started going to pre schools from this spring, we decided to have the kids-English gathering in the early evening.
Kids are really growing, so I need to think what to teach them in a way that attract them. (It is indeed quite challenging, but when they respond, I'm really happy, yeah!).
Since some kids are from Honai where it takes almost an hour by car, they take bath here and eat dinner so that they can just fall in sleep on the way back. This helps their mother. Friends, plays, taking a bath together, and having dinner together; now our kids English is now like evening party.
Entering the third year with them, I really feel that they have grown a lot. Now we can have small dialogues in easy English. English is just a catalyst to interact with the, but it's my pleasure to have such chances to observe their growth, and more than anything, kids' energy brings good mood to this house.

夜ごるぽっこ
この春から保育所や幼稚園に行く子も出てきたので、子ども英語の「ごるぽっこ」を早めの夕方に開催することにしました。
子どもらの成長に合わせて、こちらも英語に触れさせるあの手この手を考えます。（結構チャレンジングなことなのですが、反応がいいときには「やった！」と心の中でガッツポーズ。）
保内という、車で一時間ほどの場所から来ている姉妹がいて、彼女たちは帰りの車の中で寝てしまうので、我が家で風呂にも入っていきます。そんなわけで、遊んで、結局子どもら皆で風呂に入って、一緒に夕飯食べて、まるで合宿の様です。
この子たちと一緒に集まるようになって３度目の夏に入ります。本当に皆大きくなりました。今では簡単な英語で対話もできるほど。といっても、英語はきっかけにすぎず、こんな風に彼らの成長を目撃できる機会を得られることは何よりの喜びです。何よりも、彼らのエネルギーが我が家に良い空気を運び入れてくれるように思うのです。
