The very first day of 2011 started with general housecleaning that was supposed to be done by the end of the last year.
It was sunny but sometimes snowing. Beside us being busy with cleaning, Umeo was busy with "cooking" in the garden. It's really messy with many stuffs there, but they became attractive cooking tools and ingredients to Umeo.
For lunch, T-san, one of the most energetic granpas, invited us for BBQ in his storage. Starting with T-san's place, we visited several people to greet, and by the time we came home, we were so full because there were good foods at every house!
This is how we started 2011. In this new living base we wish that we could call our star from the firmament.

我らの元旦は、大掃除で始まりました。
晴れたり雪が降ったりのこの日。大掃除でせわしなく動く私たちの横で、（う）は庭でのおままごとにいそしんでいます。様々な物で溢れている庭は、（う）にとっては魅力的な調理道具や材料の山に見えるのでしょう。
お昼には、ここらでの元気じいやんの一人であるTさんにお呼ばれ。彼の倉庫でのBBQに加わりました。その後も、何人かお世話になっているおうちに新年の挨拶に回り、家に戻る頃にはお腹一杯！どこのおうちでもごちそうが並んでいるのですもの。
こうして私たちの新年は始まりました。この新しい生活拠点に、良い運気を呼び込むことができますように。
