Kids really observe what other kids do. So does Umeo.
A few days back, one of our neighbors' 2-year-old girl said "shee-shee" in our house meaning "I want to pee". She sat on the toilet and peed nicely. Umeo was gazing at her and decided to try, too. Umeo also made it, which was really impressing to me!
Since then, Umeo sometimes(not always yet though!)sits on the toilet and pees.
Besides toilet practice, kids have influences on each other: vocabulary, behavior, eating practice and so on. They are like sponges absorbing many things every moment.
I have to be aware of it because Umeo is observing me every day, and Sukla will follow very soon, too.

楽しくトイレ
子どもたちは、他の子がすることをよく観察しています。（う）も例外ではありません。
何日か前、近所2歳の女の子が我が家で「しーしー」と言いました。これは「おしっこしたい」という意味で、その子はトイレに座って上手におしっこをしたのです。 （う）はその様子をじーっとみており、自分もやってみようと思ったようで、なんと上手にできたのでした。
その時以来、（う）は時々（まだ「時々」なのですが）トイレでおしっこをするようになりました。
トイレ以外にも、子どもたちは互いの行動に影響をよく受けます。それは語彙であったり、態度であったり、食べる習慣や好みだったり。どの瞬間もいろいろ吸収して、スポンジのようです。
毎日私と一緒にいる（う）から観察されているのだということを肝に銘じておかなければ。（す）がそうな風になる日もすぐにやってくるのでしょう。
