We went to our vegetable garden to dig sweet potato that day under the beautiful autumn sky. Yuki started digging, and Umeo picked up the potato. I cleaned the potato vines, and Sukla played with bugs in the ground.
At the beginning, we saw only huge, I mean "too huge", potato coming out, but soon three containers were filled with sweet potato including many of the relevant sizes. Several days later, we steamed some of them and ate as our snack. They were sweet and moist enough.
Those pink potatoes are now telling us to enjoy autumn by tongue, too.

サツマイモ
この日は家族そろって野菜畑に行き、良く晴れた秋空の下、サツマイモ掘りをしました。（ゆ）が威勢よく堀りお越し、（う）はそれを拾います。私は横で芋ヅルを片付け、（す）は土の中の虫を拾って遊んでいました。
最初は、何だかバカでかいお芋ばかりが出てきたのですが、掘っていくとすぐにいい大きさのもそろい始めて、結局コンテナ３つ分になりました。何日か置いて、ふかしておやつに食べてみたら、しっとり甘くてなかなかいい感じです。
舌でも楽しむ秋を掘り出した日となりました。
