We were amazed when we ate the "milky queen" - chemical-free and fertilizer-free brown rice made in Nagano.
Mr. Ueno of VAZAT-Shokai is the man who makes and sends it to us. He is Yuki's university junior and has become a farmer. From our end, we send them citrus fruits. His rice is amazing. Before, I didn't think that rice itself has a taste. Having eaten his rice, I feel that I don't need to cook too many side dishes. Because we appreciate and enjoy the rice itself, the side dishes taste simple and bland, which is eventually good for our health. Eating delicious food and meeting someone who we can trust makes us happy and encourages us. Wakana 素敵玄米 無肥料無農薬の長野のお米、「ミルキークイーン」を食べた時の驚きといったら。 このお米、植野さん（VAZAT商會）が作っています。彼は（ゆ）の大学の後輩で、米農家になった青年です。こちらからは、柑橘を送ったりします。 この玄米、すごいんです。お米自体に味があることを、それまではあまり意識していませんでした。このお米を炊く時は、おかずはあまり要らないなぁと思うほど。ご飯を有り難く、そしておいしく頂くために、一緒に食べるおかずはよりシンプルに、より薄味に。それが結局は身体にもよさそうです。 すてきな食べ物、信念ある人に出会うと、嬉しくなるし、勇気づけられる私たちです。 （わ） |
