 『若者と地域をつくる 地域づくりインターンに学ぶ学生と農山村の協働』（出版：原書房、2000円）という本が出版されました。 タイトルにも含まれている「地域づくりインターン」とは、都市の大学生を中心とした若者を農山村地域に送り込む取り組みです。この本は、この「地域づくりインターン」に関わりの強い研究者、自治体職員、地域づくりインターン卒業生など、編者4人を含め、総勢27人が執筆しました。事例も豊富に紹介されています。 僕は「地域づくりインターンの会」という、学生が中心になって設立した任意団体がおこなっているものに、かつて参加していました。学生事務局長として、会の運営にも携わりました。そのOBとして、この本の執筆者に加わっています。 分野としても方法論としても全く以て不確定な地域づくり・まちづくりというものの現場にいる立場から、これまで考えてきたこと、経験したこと、日々気に留め、取り組んでいることなどを、書き綴りました。よろしければ、手に取ってご覧になってくださいませ。 （ゆ） Community Development with the young A book, "Community development with the young: cooperation between the students from Community Development Internship and the villagers" (published by Hara Shobo, 2000yen)got published. Community Development Internship, which is also part of the title, is an activity which sends university students, mainly urban students, to rural villages. As many as 27 people, including four editors who are deeply involved in the activity such as academics, municipal employees, and alumni of the activity have written in this book. Various case examples are introduced, too. I used to join a voluntary association called "Association for Community Development Internship", established by students, as a student managing executive. That's why I also took part in this book as one of the writers. Community Development is an area which has neither absolute definitions nor methodologies, and I am indeed living with this very subject here in Akehama.
