Yuki has been working really hard to clean up the house, after almost completing the necessary demolitions.
At the end of this month, a master carpenter will finally arrive here to stay with us and work for the project intensively. We haven't met the carpenter, Mr. F, but he was gentle enough to send us a card greeting and introduce himself. He is a free lancing carpenter, who has been traveling all over Japan by himself. Soon after the arrival of Mr. F, the two people from Kamedesign will come again. Furthermore, Mr. S, a post graduate student of the faculty of architecture will join us as a construction volunteer. Yes, the project is getting heated up now. So, even today, during the Obon holidays, Yuki climbed up the roof space and rafters for cleaning, looking like a giant lizard! Wakana  かんまん部屋プロジェクト その３ 大方の解体作業を終えて、（ゆ）は古民家の大掃除に励んでいます。 今月末、いよいよ棟梁さんがここに到着します。集中的に家の改修をするためで、その間は我が家に寝泊まりしてもらうことになっています。私たちはどちらも、この棟梁のＦさんにはまだ会ったことがないのですが、先日丁寧に挨拶の葉書をもらい、その心遣いにえらく感動し恐縮しているところです。彼は、フリーランスの棟梁で、日本中を一人で旅しているのだとか。 Ｆさんの到着のすぐ後には、かめ設計室のお二人が再来場。さらに、9月に入るとすぐに、建築学科院生のSさんが建築ボランティアとして来てくれることになっています。そう、「かんまん部屋」プロジェクトも熱気を帯びてきています。 というわけで、本日お盆休みではありますが（お盆で山仕事が休みだからこそ）、（ゆ）は屋根裏や梁によじ登って大掃除。真っ黒になって、大きなトカゲのように見えました。 （わ） |
