この日、明浜町の駅伝大会がありました。
一区から十区まで、子どもチームも大人チームも走ります、走ります。われ等が斎藤家の満天（小4）も二区を走るということで、応援に行きました。
冷たい空気の中、海沿いのくねくね道を走ります。ちなみに、私たちが暮らす狩江地区では、「華の五区」と勝手に呼んでいます。ちょうど狩江公民館の前を走る区間で、集落の人がみんなで見守り、声援を送ります。平坦な道でもあるので、走者にとっては大変心強いところです。
立派に走りきって閉会式に出た満天は、おしるこが食べられた！ と嬉しいそうに帰ってきました。寒い日でしたが、全身ぽかぽかになったようです。

Marathon relay race
We had a local marathon relay race today.
The cource was devided into ten zones, and many teams joined. 10-year-old Manten, son of our host farmer, also ran, so we went to cheer him up.
He, as well as the other runners, ran along ria shoreline in the cold air. By the way, the area we are living is Karie which we call "special zone" on our own. Why? Because there is a community hall where crowd gather and cheer for runners. Plus, it's actually easy zone for runners as it's mostly flat.
Anyway, our Manten did quite well and came back saying "I had Oshiruko (sticky rice ball in hot sweet bean soup) at the closing ceremony!Yeah!". Well, it was such a cold day, but he looked like very happy with a good smile.:)
