(ゆ) The end of spring, the beginning of summer I've finished box packing of Amanatsu today, and now our Amanatsu is all over for this season. Thank you very much to those who ordered and enjoyed them. This year's Amanatsu also had a good reputation, and we received a lot of messages that really encouraged us. It's our pleasure to hear that people appreciate our Amanatsu because we understand that growing Amanatsu is a kind of small movement as a family who gets involved in citrus cultivation. I feel relaxed now as Amanatsu season has got over. Amanatsu harvesting makes me really busy because there are many other work at spring time and also preparation for that at the same time. I'm going to start picking green Japanese plums from the end of May and yellow ripe Japanese plums from June. Once plum season is over, there is a break until Mandarin orange season starts. However, there are a lot of things to improve the condition of trees during this "break time" that will show the results next year and even in two years. This is actually where I have to work really hard. Yuki |
