We often play together with four-year-old N and two-year-old I, who live nearby, but it was the first time that they stayed here without their mother, M-san.
M-san got some work, so she left them with me for several hours. Although I'm familiar with them, I wondered how they would react without their mother. Despite of my worries, they didn't look nervous at all; specially, N behaved in such a mature fashion!
They are sweet girls to me, but with full responsibility that day, I found them much more adorable.Is that how it is? :)

初めてのお預かり
4歳のNちゃんと、2歳のIちゃんの姉妹とは、近所ですしよく一緒に遊びます。けれど、姉妹だけをお預かりするのは、今回が初めて。
姉妹のお母さんのMさんは、この日用事がありました。なので午前中の何時間か二人を我が家に置いていきました。お母さんなしで二人がどう振る舞うのか、ちょっと心配もしていましたが、まったく緊張の様子もなしで立派なものです。時にお姉ちゃんのNちゃんが、非常にお姉ちゃんらしく冷静に振る舞っていたのが印象的でした。
普段からかわいい二人ですが、この日は特別愛らしく感じたのが新鮮でした。数時間ではあっても、完全に自分の責任の下にあったからでしょうか。こんなものなのかしら。
