仔牛近道

晴れた木曜日。
先日一緒に米寿のお祝いをした、お隣のMさんのフキ採りに同行しました。奈良田から車で2時間、北杜市にあるご親戚のお山へのフキ採りは、かれこれ40年くらい続けているそうです。

毎年、Ｍさんが採ってきたフキの皮むきを一緒にやったり、おすそ分け頂いたりしているばかりでしたが、今年はぜひ一緒に！・・・とはいえ、（さ）も一緒なので、フキ収穫に集中できる主力は、（ゆ）です。運転手兼務で。こうなったら、と同じく遠足が楽しめそうな、K親子も誘いました。

おしゃべりしたり、歌ったり、おやつもたくさんもって、1歳から88歳までの総勢7名で楽しい遠足。着けば、なんとも立派な一面のフキ！Kが子どもたちを見守ってくれていたおかげもあり、私も途中は収穫に集中できました。例年より人出があって助かった、にぎやかでよかった、とMさんも満足なご様子。それぞれの役割を果たして、ほくほく帰路につきました。

また来年も一緒に行こうね。

Let’s go picking petasites!


It’s a sunny Thursday!
We planned petasites picking together with our good neighbor, 88-year-old M grandpa. We knew that he goes to the mountain side of Hokuto city every year in this season to pick petasites, driving almost 2 hours by car from Narada. He has continued this for the last 40 years!

He is very proud of the great size of petasites picked there and gives us some of them every year, but we planned to join him this year. However, we knew that only Yuki would be the main work force cum driver because 3-year-old naughty Saede accompanies, too. (I was supposed to run after her….) So, I just thought of K and her sons and invited them to join our one-day excursion.

Chatting and singing throughout the day, with a lot of snacks for break, a group of 7 (age range of 1 to 88!) enjoyed their sunny spring day. Thanks to K, who played not only with her kids, but also with Saede, I could concentrate on petasites picking for some time. M grandpa was also happy because of the lively company and more work force. It seemed like everyone played a great role and had a wonderful day in the sun.

We wish to go together next year too, together with M grandpa and friends.
