仔牛近道

最近の（さ）語録に、「これ、さっちゃんのタラカモノなの」というフレーズがあります。

3歳の誕生日に、（う）が手作りのマスコットを詰めてくれた黄色いバスの形の小物入れ。それにアレコレお気に入りのものを詰め込んで、いつも集落内を持ち歩き、集落のじいちゃんばぁちゃんに出会っては、「これ、さっちゃんの・・・」と見せています。中には、四角い「まきじゃくのジャック」（子ども番組に出てくるキャラクターの名前です）、丸い「まきじゃくのマッキ―」（自作です）、透明のスーパーボール大小、宇宙人の形の小さい消しゴム、等々です。

持ち歩くには重いけれど、1日何度も読んでいる愛読書もあります。一冊は『決定版 日本妖怪大全 妖怪・あの世・神様』。特に、「隠れ里」と「隠れ婆」が気になっている様子で、日常会話にも取り込んできています。家の中を歩き回っている（さ）を私が探していると、「ちょっとカクレザトを探していて・・・」と真剣な表情。また、もう夕方だからお家に帰ろ、というときも「カクレババアがきちゃうもんね」と警戒します。助かる！
もう一冊は『世界サメ図鑑』。中でも、「アカシュモクザメ」と「ネムリブカ」をごひいきな（さ）です。



ところで、今年は（ゆ）が区長をしているので、奈良田内の集落放送もわが家から発信します。「ピンポンパンポーン」と鉄筋を叩いてから「集落の皆さん、こんばんは。〇〇のお知らせです」と始めますが、区長代理で私が放送しようとすると必ず背後には（さ）が。マイクを貸せとやかましいので、念入りに練習をして、ある日挨拶の部分だけやらせてみました。「ピピン、ポポン、パパパン、ポポーーーーン」と軽快？に鉄琴を鳴らせてから、「ちゅうらくのみなちゃん、こんにちは。・・・さっちゃんだ！」とご機嫌に放送。この「さっちゃん放送」は、怒られると思いきや12軒のみの奈良田集落で案外好評で、今でも欠かさず続いています。
もうちょっと慣れてきたら、「さっちゃんのたらかばこ」について集落放送し出しちゃう・・・かも？

Taraka-mono

Here is Saede’s new phrase –“Taraka-mono” which should be “Takara-mono (treasure)”.

For Saede’s 3-year-old birthday, Umeo gifted a yellow box of bus shape, with full of handmade small dolls inside. Saede loved it and added some more her favorite items to carry everywhere she goes. Whenever she sees grandpa/grandma in Narada when she is walking around, she happily opens her treasure box to introduce every single item. In the box, she carries small dolls made by Umeo, a squire shape tape measure (named Jack by her), a round shape tape measure (named Macky), small bouncy balls, small erasers of alien character, etc…



There are books that she opens many times a day. One is “The definitive edition –Corpus of Yōkai (monstrous being) in Japan”, and the other is “The encyclopedia of Sharks”. Among all the Yōkai and sharks, there are a few “special favorites” each and often talks about them so happily.



By the way, Yuki has been a headman of Narada ward this year, so whenever community matters are to be announced through speakers, Yuki (or I) is supposed to take a microphone to speak. Because Yuki usually comes home late, I’m the one who takes the role, and of course, Saede finds me doing something “interesting” and quickly runs to me to join. Which is better that I insist to speak by myself with Saede’s angry screaming behind, or just letting her speak a bit at the beginning….? I made my mind to let her try, so I taught her what to say through the microphone. It should go like “Shūraku no minasan konnichiwa (Hello everyone in the community)”, and Saede indeed did a good job saying “Chūraku no minachan konnichiwa”, and at the end she said “Sacchan da! (I’m Saede!)” very proudly.
Thanks, people in Narada enjoyed Saede’s voice from the speaker, so since then she has never missed the chance to take a role of greeting at the time of announcement. One day, will she start introducing about her treasure box through the microphone? Maybe?
