 Umeo has found a good sewing teacher. Sewing is something she loves and can concentrate on for a long time. As many of the children around us started taking up some form of enrichment lessons like piano, swimming, and calligraphy, Umeo had been also interested in leaning something from an outside teacher. Sewing and drawing have been the ones that Umeo is quite serious about, but I was not sure in which form she could learn those things, and we haven't encouraged her to learn something from very early age. But, yes, dreams come true if you really wish! When we went to M-chan's house after playing at the beach as a Club Ponpi activity, M-chan's mother in law, A-san, said that she was really happy to do sewing with her whenever she has time.   Then, the sewing class was held today in the "blue room" that is one of her favorite rooms in M-chan's house, where she can feel calm. (There is the "pink room" too, where light pink carpet is spread and you can feel a nice breeze.) Great thanks to A-sensei's able guidance, a pretty shoulder bag was made! Of course she helps Umeo a lot, but never forgot to encourage and bring out the best in her, so Umeo was really happy with her work and felt confident. Let's see what they make in the next lesson. :) Wakana  ぽんぴくらぶ～裁縫教室編 （う）が、素敵なお裁縫の先生を見つけました。縫い物は、（う）がとても集中できる、大好きな手仕事のひとつです。 周りの子どもたちにも、ピアノ、水泳、習字といった習い事を始める子が増えてきたのを感じつつ、（う）も何だか自分もやってみたくなっている様子。最近の（う）は、お裁縫と絵を描くことに真剣になって、長い時間集中してやっていることが多いです。私たちは、特に小さいうちから何かを習う、ということを推めたことはないのですが、外の先生から何かを習ってみたい憧れを抱き始めた（う）さん。さて、念ずれば通ずということなのかな。「ぽんぴくらぶ」で海遊びの後に、M-ちゃんのおうちに寄って遊んでいたら、お義母さんのAさんが、なんとお裁縫がとっても上手だと判明。時間がある時は、喜んで教えてくれるというのです。 というわけで、この日初めてのカバン作り。Mちゃんちの中の、お気に入りの「青の部屋」（水色のカーペットが敷いていあります）で、二人でこもって真剣です。（ちなみに、もう一つ、お気に入りの「ピンクの部屋」というのもあって、こちらは薄ピンクのカーペットに、いい風が通る部屋です。） Aさんの素晴らしい手ほどきで、かわいらしい肩掛けカバンが出来上がりました。もちろん、要所要所手伝ってもらいながら、でも、Aさんに上手に褒めてもらいながら、（う）の達成感たるや。 さて、この次は何に取り組むのかな。楽しみです。 （わ）
