"I don't know the details though, but it seems that H-san and the Masayang guys will come here for Irori-BBQ tomorrow.
What he said was correct.
They came with a lot of boar meat that H-san shot a day before and the Masayang guys cut and cleaned it. Thank god that H-san's wife, T-san came along. She knows how to make these big eaters' stomachs full with various side menus. Though it was the first time for me to serve such a large number of men, it went well, thanks to her!
By the way, Just two days before, K-chan, who will be a university student from coming April, came to have a chat with us. She was wondering about the new university life, so we shared a lot of stories from our student-days. Then she also told us that she wanted to practice English and get to know the various perspectives. So, we invited her to the BBQ. She said that she had a good time interacting with the Filipino guys. Maybe she found not only the different English accent from what she had learnt at school, but also different perspectives?
Moreover, Ky-chan and her children were also with us. They joined that day's Golpo-kko and stayed till BBQ. I was glad that Ky-chan's 3-year-old-son and 1-year-old daughter also enjoyed the party.
Anyways, that night's guest combination was quite unique , but it went well. That IS the atmosphere of "Kanman (that's alright!)", here, I believe.

一緒に食べよう
昨晩、猪ハンターのＨさんのところにお呼ばれして飲んでいた（ゆ）は、帰宅するとこう言いました。
「ごめん、詳細は分からないのだけれど、明日どうやら、Ｈさんとマサヤンハウスの皆が、うちでＢＢＱしに来るみたいなんだ。」
相当酔っていはいましたが、その記憶は正しいものでした。夕方にガヤガヤ集まって、囲炉裏の周りはぎゅう詰めです。助かったのは、Ｈさんの奥さんのＴさんも来てくれたこと。彼女は、おかずやご飯の量など、この大食いの彼らの胃袋を満たすベテランだからです。
ところで、ちょうど二晩前、近所のＫちゃんがうちにおしゃべりしにやってきていました。彼女は春から大学生で、学生生活のことなど気になっていることや考え方などを相談に来たのでしたが、同時に英語の練習をしたいとのことでした。私たちも、自分たちの学生時代の話や色々大胆に活動している学生の例などを話したりしていたのですが、そんなＫちゃんを、今回のＢＢＱにも誘ってみました。フィリピン人の彼らとたくさんおしゃべりしていたようで、楽しんでいたようです。学校で習ってきたのではない英語に触れただけでなく、異なる考え方にも触れることができたでしょうか。
さらに、この日は、これまた近所のＫちゃんとその子どもたちも一緒に食べました。彼らは、その日の夕方にやっていた「ごるぽっこ」に参加した後、そのままずっといてくれて、猪ＢＢＱに合流。3歳と1歳の子どもたちも、大人数にひるむことなく楽しそうで、頼もしかった。
というようなわけで、この日のお客さまのコンビネーションは今までになく統一感無しだったのこそ、「かんまん！（この地域の方言で、「構わない」の意）」の空気だったのかなと思ったりして。
