One evening, Z-san came and said "hey, do you wanna try(eat) Coelacanth?". We inadvertently replied....."what!?"
Isn't coelacanth "living fossil"? Do people eat it? We were so puzzled, but curious what he meant. So Yuki went with him to get the fish.
The fish he came back with was, of course, not coelacanth, but it WAS huge. I could kind of understand why it got the nickname, coelacanth. My challenge was to clean and cut it as always.
It's white fish, and we ate it as meuniere; it was quite yummy, indeed. Thanks for the new experience and surprise, Z-san and coelacanth!

シーラカンス
ある晩、Zさんがやって来て、「おい、シーラカンス食うか？」と聞いてきました。私たちは思わず「はいっ？！」。
シーラカンスって、「生きている化石」ではなかったかしら。食べれるの？なんて困惑しつつも興味津々。結局ゆうきは魚を受け取りにZさんと出て行きました。
もらってきたのは、やはりシーラカンスではありませんでしたが、でかいはでかい。シーラカンスなんているあだ名を付けたくなる気持ちも分からなくもありませんでした。ともかく、私の挑戦は、いつも通りこのお魚を捌くことです。
白身魚で、ムニエルにとても合いました。Zさんとシーラカンスよ、新たな経験と驚きを、どうもありがとう。
