During today's Golpo-kko, one of kids started saying that she wanted to do Shuji(Japanese calligraphy). Okay, why not?
I remembered that there were a few Shuji sets upstairs. I brought them down, and asked Umeo to get old newspapers from S-chan, one of our friendly neighbors in their 80s, who live just in front of us. When Umeo called her from the window, she couldn't hear her voice, then Umeo knocked her door and soon came back with hands full of newspapers.
We spread the papers over the floor and started drawing, of course only with black ink. About 30 minutes later, there were various shapes and lines that 6 kids drew; weird lines, objects, shapes, faces, letters (some actually looked like Indian alphabet!). We put them up and enjoyed the world of black and white. Of course, we didn't forget inviting S-chan as a special guest to our galley.

ごるぽ習字
この日の「ごるぽっこ」で、子どもの一人が突然「習字やりたい！」と言い出しました。あら、そう？ということでやることに。
二階に確か習字セットがあったな、と思い見てみるとちょど3セットほどありました。それらを下におろして、あとは（う）に、お向いのSちゃんから古新聞をたくさんもらってくるようにお願いしました。Sちゃんは、80代のきさくなおばあちゃんです。（う）がいつものように窓からSちゃんを呼んだのですが応答はなく、すると（う）はすかさず家の中まで行ったかと思うと、両手いっぱいの新聞を抱えて戻ってきました。
その新聞を床一面に敷き詰めて、さて始まりです。30分もすると、6人の子どもたちが描いた、なんだか奇妙な線や形や文字らしきものが勢ぞろい。（中には、インドの文字みたいなのもありました！）それらを貼りつけて、小さなギャラリーが完成しました。もちろん、お向いのSちゃんをお招きするのを忘れませんでした。
